LWML
Lutheran Women’s Missionary League
The mission of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League is to assist each woman of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.
We meet on the 4th Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. We meet at church or at a member’s home.
We are part of an International organization, which strives to reach others with the message of salvation. We are one of seven groups in the Fort Dodge zone, which is a part of Iowa District West.
At the beginning of each year, we choose several projects, which we support, with our monthly offerings. These donations are free will and not necessary to belong to the organization.
We strive to have a bible study at least ten times a year. We try to have a retreat once a year. We are a very active group. We have prayer partners and secret sisters in Christ programs, which are optional for each individual to join.
We take turns with the Ladies Aid serving funeral luncheons and cleaning the kitchen.
You are invited to come and visit and hopefully join and along side of us Serve the Lord with gladness. Ps100: 2 this verse is the motto of the LWML.
