Ladies Aid
Ladies Aid
- St Paul’s Ladies Aid is made of women who are members of St. Paul who choose to perform deeds of kindness and mercy within the congregation.
- We meet the 1st Thursday of each month at 1:00 p.m. except the months of June, July, and August when we meet at 9:00 a.m. in the morning.
- We have visiting committees who visit our shut-ins, elderly and members that may be ill. In December, we have a pot luck and prepare cookie and candy plates to deliver to the shut-ins. We take turns with the LWML serving funeral lunches and cleaning the kitchen.
- The goals of this society are: To assist within its sphere and so far as possible, in the spreading of the Gospel and in gaining of immortal souls for Christ and His Kingdom and to promote systematic study of the Bible and to encourage growth in Christian knowledge.
- To foster a closer acquaintance and Christian fellowship among the ladies of St. Paul?s congregation, especially through circles.
- To perform such deeds of kindness and mercy within the congregation and in the Kingdom of God at large, to which Christian and God-fearing women are especially adapted.
