Lavonne Breitenkamp, Church Secretary

Supporting and assisting our pastor is our church secretary. Lavonne and her husband Bill are parents of three children.

Lorilee Seiser, Preschool Director

Lorilee is the Preschool Director and helps our secretary in various ways. Lorilee’s husband is Richard Seiser.

Kham Phiwthong, Deacon

Kham Phiwthong is the Deacon for our Laotion Congregation. He has finished the LLI for IA District West Classes. Kham’s wife, Lord, is of great help to him. They have three daughters, Ratana, Konika, and Somalee; and one son, Yo.

Pastor Travis Schmidt

Pastor Travis Schmidt hails from Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He was in the first grade when God’s voice called him to serve during a worship service. He attended Bethlehem Lutheran School followed by Sheboygan County Christian High School. He graduated from Concordia University Chicago with a liberal arts degree with music in 1984. He attained his master’s degree in theology at Concordia Theological Seminary in For Wayne, Indiana in 1989. Currently he is studying for a Doctorate of Ministry at the Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.

Pastor spent most of his college years with touring choirs of Kapelle, Foresters, and Kantorei. He has a minor in voice and has had several years of guitar, piano, and organ lessons. He currently plans the contemporary worship services and is a main supporter of the LSV, the new LCMS hymnal.

He met his wife, Jennifer, at Concordia University in Chicago. They have been married over 21 years. They have three children: Joshua, Amber, and Caleb.

Pastor came to Webster City in August of 1997. Previously he served a church with a school in Hilbert, Wisconsin. There he and Jennifer established a daycare, preschool, and a kindergarten.
